SOME ADVICES FOR THE VISITORS
To those who will actually visit "Julia & Alexander N. Diomedes Botanic Garden" we would like to wish a pleasant stroll in the beautiful and tranquil environment of the Garden hoping that they will go along with the following instructions:
- The garden is open to the public according to the following schedule: Working days: 08.00 -14.00 Weekends and holidays: 10.00 - 15.00, excluding Christmas day, New Year's Eve, Ash Monday, Good Friday, (Greek Orthodox) Easter Sunday, the 1st of May and the period from 15th of July to 31st of August during which the Garden is closed.
- Vehicles (bikes, bicycles etc.) and pets are prohibited in the garden area
- Any collection of plants or animals of any kind is also strictly prohibited.
- The use of balls for playing any kind of game is strictly prohibited.
- An adult person should accompany children below 14 years of age.
- Misplacing or damaging the Garden signs or the tags identifying the plant species, besides the inconvenience it causes to the visitors, is extremely costly for the Garden and troublesome to the maintenance personnel.
- Please use the roads or the marked paths of the Garden for your walk.
- Children wondering round the pools must be under close surveillance.
- Please use the waste-bins. Keep the Garden clean.
